Are these watercolours really washable?
Yes — they're formulated to rinse out of most fabrics and wipe off hard surfaces with warm water and soap. As with any paint, rinsing fresh spills right away gives the best result, and a smock or an old t-shirt is still a sensible idea for enthusiastic painters.
What paper works best with watercolour paints?
Thicker paper makes all the difference. Regular printer paper buckles and tears once it's wet, while watercolour paper or heavy cartridge paper holds the water, keeps colours bright, and stays flat as it dries. Even a cereal box cut flat works better than thin paper in a pinch.
