  • Do you design or make your products?

    We do not. All of our products are sourced from various craftspeople around the world, most of which own small family shops, where everything is made by hand. We have amazing suppliers from 8 different countries (and we hope to add more soon!)

  • Where are you located?

    We are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe people, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, Haudenosaunee, and Huron-wendat (Wyandot).

  • Do you have a physical store location?

    We do not. Right now we only sell online.

  • How long does it take to ship my products?

    We ship your product within 48 hours of placing your order. You can read more about our shipping policy below.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, we do!

  • Do you offer free local pickup?

    Yes! We offer contactless porch pick up in Toronto. Choose the “local pick up” option at checkout and we will contact you when your order is ready. 

  • What if I received a wrong or damaged item?

    We do our best to package everything very carefully, but sometimes mistakes happen or items get damaged in transit, and we are very sorry for this! If, upon inspection, you find an order is incorrect, damaged, or defective in any way, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right.

Shipping

We are a Canadian-based company and ship via UPS, Purolator, Canpar & FedEx. We don't ship wth Canada Post, so unfortuantely cannot ship to PO Boxes. All prices below are in Canadian Dollars. We guarantee that your product will be shipped with 48 hours of your order being placed.

Shipping Internationally

We offer calculated carrier rates to ensure customers are getting the most accurate rates for international shipment.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs, duties & import taxes.

Processing Times

All orders are guaranteed to ship from our Toronto location within 48 hours unless it is a custom or pre-order product. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your order or shipment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Returned Shipments

If a package wasn't able to be delivered to the customer and is, therefore, returned to The Playful Peacock, the customer is responsible for additional shipping charges to send the package back to The Playful Peacock.

Impact of Covid-19 on Shipping

Due to additional safety precautions and increased package volume, some domestic deliveries may be slightly delayed. Some items crossing the international border may also experience longer than usual processing times.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our shipping partners and their personnel work as quickly as possible to deliver your items safely.

Sustainability

We are committed to respecting and protecting our environment. We have partnered with two eco-friendly companies, EcoEnclose & NoIssue, to source the majority of our packing supplies. We also re-use any packing materials that we receive from our suppliers, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. We do not include paper invoices or bills in our packing boxes (unless specifically requested by the customer). 

Returns

Refund Policy

We value our customers and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for some reason you are not 100% satisfied with your order please contact us as soon as possible at info@theplayfulpeacock.com.

We accept returns and exchanges within the first 30 days of purchase (excluding sale or custom items). The items purchased must be returned in their original packaging and be in the same condition as when they arrived. Once it has been returned to us and inspected we will issue a refund or exchange for the product(s) within 5 days.

Please Note: Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and we strongly encourage a trackable mail service when returning items to us, as we cannot be held responsible for merchandise damaged or lost in return shipment.

The Playful Peacock reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions
