Description

Let's investigate the Woodlands!

Each of these stones has the raised footprint of an animal on one side and an image of the animal indented into the other. Take the stones on a group walk to compare them with any animal tracks the children discover (or prepare some of your own if needed). Press the footprint into the ground to check, then flip the stone over to identify what animal left the marks. Replicate the same treasure hunt by leaving trails of footprints in the outdoor area of your setting. What animal might the children find at the end: fox, squirrel, rabbit, frog, deer, hawk, owl or mouse?

    These stones were bigger and heavier than I thought they’d be and I love it! They’re perfect for outdoor adventures with the kids to find some tracks that match or for playdough and sensory play! We’ll definitely be adding more of these to the collection

    My children (4 & 2 years) helped me open my package from Anne and immediately these stones became a favourite! They loved identifying the animals and how tactile the stones were. My older child asked for play-dough to make footprints and my daughter had fun stacking them. A great quality product that we’ll be able to use in SO many ways!
