Description
A little angel to mark the occasion! This hand-painted wooden figure slots straight into your Grimm’s birthday ring, birthday or advent spiral, or Lifelight — the small finishing touch that turns a table into a celebration.
It’s lovely beyond the ring too. Stand it on a window-sill, tuck it onto the nature table, or set it beside the cake, and it brings that quiet bit of occasion to the day. Families tend to bring the same figures out year after year, which is how a simple wooden angel ends up being part of how your family marks the moments that matter.
Hand-painted on European-sourced lime wood with non-toxic, water-based colour stain, so the grain shows through the colour.
Why we love the Grimm’s Celebration Ring Angel:
- Fits Rings and Spirals: Slots into Grimm’s birthday rings, birthday and advent spirals, and Lifelights.
- Hand-Painted on Lime Wood: Non-toxic, water-based colour stain that lets the natural grain show through.
- At Home Anywhere: Just as lovely on a window-sill, a nature table, or beside the birthday cake.
- Brought Out Each Year: A keepsake piece that becomes part of how your family marks birthdays and the seasons.
What is a Grimm’s birthday ring?
It’s a wooden ring with holes around the edge, used in a Waldorf-inspired birthday tradition. A candle is added for each year of a child’s age, with small decorative figures like this angel filling the remaining spaces. The ring comes out every birthday, and children look forward to seeing which figures appear.
When would we use the angel figure?
Whenever the moment calls for it. Many families bring the angel out at Christmas and through Advent on the spiral, and plenty use it year-round for birthdays, on a nature table, or simply as a small marker for a day worth remembering.
One small angel, and the table knows it’s a special day!
