Ho ho ho — Sammy Santa has arrived! This soft, poseable little friend comes with a sweet Santa-inspired look and a whole sackful of Christmas spirit, handing out warm hugs and cheerful smiles all season long.
Sammy is the one children want with them on Christmas morning. He’s small enough to sit beside the stocking, light enough to be carried downstairs in the excitement, and soft enough to be hugged tight through the whole of it. For the rest of December he’s in the thick of the storytelling, delivering imaginary presents to everyone in the house.
Sammy is a limited edition doll from the Holiday Hollow Christmas collection.
Why we love the Olli Ella Dinky Dinkum Sammy Santa:
- The Santa of the Collection: A familiar, much-loved character children recognise straight away and want to play out.
- Made for Christmas Morning: Small, soft, and easy to carry about through all the excitement of the day.
- Poseable Arms and Legs: Bends and holds his position, so he can sit, stand, and be arranged however your child likes.
- A Keepsake from 18 Months: Soft enough for the youngest cuddlers and sturdy enough to come out every December.
Is Sammy a good first Christmas gift for a toddler?
He’s a lovely one. At 18 months and up, he’s soft all over with no hard pieces, light enough to be carried about, and instantly recognisable as Santa — which makes him easy for a little one to connect with. Many families bring the same doll out each year as part of their Christmas unpacking.
Which Holiday Hollow doll should we choose?
It usually comes down to who your child takes to. Sammy is Santa himself, Ezra is the busy elf, Riley the adventurous reindeer, Eden the tree decorator, Carol Claus the singer, and Aria the angel. There are six in all, and families often add one a year rather than all at once.

About the Brand
Dinkum Dolls by Olli Ella is the Australian brand behind some of the most-loved dolls in children’s rooms. Founded in 2010 by sisters Chloe and Olivia Brookman, both moms, the brand has built its name on soft, gently weighted dolls designed to be carried everywhere and kept for years.
The Dinkum family has grown to include the classic poseable, dressable dolls, sleepy Dozy Dinkums for the very littlest, plush animal Cozy Dinkums, and palm-sized Dinky Dinkums, plus a whole world of outfits and accessories. Each one has an embroidered face, a signature tuft of hair, and that lovely weight that makes them feel real in little arms.
Beautiful design is only half of it. Olli Ella works to natural, non-toxic materials and ethical production standards, partnering with makers who share those values — and the brand is certified B Corp.
