Silhouette Artists

Every scene that glows on your shelf started as someone's drawing. That's the part we love most about Toverlux — each silhouette is the work of a real illustrator, with their own hand, their own style, and their own way of seeing childhood. Which means choosing one is less like picking a lamp shade and more like choosing a small piece of art for your child's room.

Some of our artists are beloved classics whose work has been shaping children's imaginations for over a century, including Elsa Beskow, Sibylle von Olfers, and Daniela Drescher — names that Waldorf families know well. Others are independent illustrators working today, each bringing something entirely their own: Vogel Geluk's starry night skies, Robin Pieterse's autumn scenes, Eentje van Margo's gnome villages, and the newest addition to the family, Mhairi Hellbrandt, whose folklore-inspired work joins us this season.
